Charlotte Haq
Charlotte Haq is the Policy Assistant at IRAP. In this role, Charlotte works with Policy staff,
other IRAP departments, and internal and external stakeholders to support the work of
IRAP’s Policy Department.
Prior to joining IRAP, Charlotte worked as a Head Writing Fellow, Departmental
Undergraduate Leader, and Research Assistant at Brown University, working closely with
the Ethnic Studies Department and the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in
America. In the summer of 2022, she worked as an Intern at the Ford Foundation in their
Creativity and Free Expression Department.
Charlotte graduated magna cum laude and with honors from Brown University in May 2024.
She has volunteered in Spain with the Fundación Secretariado Gitano and has worked with
organizations such as Hands of Hope Food Pantry, Metuchen Youth for Equity and Racial
Justice, and voter outreach organizations. Charlotte is fluent in Spanish and speaks some
Urdu and French.
