The International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) is a global legal aid and advocacy organization working to create a world where refugees and all people seeking safety are empowered to claim their right to freedom of movement and a path to lasting refuge. Driven by the experiences and needs of displaced people, IRAP’s work integrates legal aid, strategic litigation, policy advocacy, media advocacy, and legal information to uphold and advance the rights of people seeking safety around the world.
At this time, IRAP is seeking partners in Latin America and the Caribbean for a new project advancing family reunification and expansion of lawful pathways in the Western Hemisphere. Priority will be given to organizations that are based in Latin America or the Caribbean and that serve people on the move, displaced people, or people at risk of displacement. The application period for this opportunity is now closed, and we anticipate that partners will be announced in late summer, 2024.
