Investing in Staff and Team Culture
We support staff’s professional development and career growth through professional development funding for workshops, trainings, language classes, and more.
Staff Retreat & Bonding
We invest in staff bonding and building a team. We have staff retreats in person to create a bond and work on strategic planning for the next year. Each of our offices also have a monthly team bonding budget.
Our staff have the opportunity to participate in resiliency groups – formed to provide a private and safe space to discuss both personal and professional challenges within our work.
Employee Benefits & Perks
Medical Health & Wellness
IRAP pays 100% of all premiums for medical insurance for our employees, among other benefits. IRAP pays generous medical reimbursements for staff who have medical coverage elsewhere, or choose a cost-sharing plan. These benefits are also for our staff member’s eligible family members (generally spouses, children, and where possible, domestic partners).
U.S. full-time tax paying staff are eligible to participate in our 401k plan, including an employer match. We contribute to the government-administered retirement plan for eligible employees in our Lebanon office, and are working on a plan in Germany and Jordan at this time.
We have a generous parental leave program that allows parents to take 17 weeks of leave after a birth or adoption. In addition, we provide support for staff who participate in work-related travel by providing a childcare stipend. In Germany, the statutory parental leave regulations apply.

All full time employees accrue 20 days off, in addition to a year-end break from December 25 to January 1, 5 personal days, sick time, and a generous holiday allowance that varies from 17-20 days off per year (depending on which office you work in). In Germany, staff receive 25 vacation days and unlimited sick time.
Many staff at IRAP are eligible for our sabbatical program for up to four months.
We provide a wellness reimbursement for staff to spend on personal self-care – whether that means membership to a gym, a massage, joining a meditation class, or buying yourself running shoes.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access
IRAP is actively committed to being an equitable and anti-racist organization. We believe that diversity is critical to fostering a strong workplace and serving our clients well. We strongly encourage applications from people with lived experiences in the communities that we serve, members of other marginalized communities, and individuals whose identities are underrepresented in the legal profession.
We provide funding and support for staff-led affinity groups organized around marginalized communities, individuals facing historical barriers to an equitable and inclusive work environment, and people with lived experiences in communities we serve.
IRAP has salary scales that were created to promote transparency in compensation at IRAP. IRAP’s compensation goals are (1) to pay competitively in order to hire and retain staff who are talented and best able to enact our mission (2) to treat staff equally without regard to nationality (3) to pay wages that are financially sustainable for the organization. Your compensation will be determined based off your position on the salary scale.
