IRAP’s Director, Becca Heller, Receives Charles Bronfman Prize

We’re thrilled to share today’s announcement that Becca Heller, IRAP’s Director and co-founder, is the 2015 recipient of the Charles Bronfman Prize. The Bronfman Prize of $100,000 is awarded on an annual basis to an individual or team of people under age 50 doing impactful humanitarian work that reflects their Jewish values. At 34, Heller is the youngest ever recipient of the prize.

This award represents an incredible endorsement of the value of IRAP’s work. Heller hopes the prize will draw grant makers’ attention to the dire challenges confronting refugees around the world.

“These are some of the keystone issues of our time and our generation, and they need to be addressed,” said Heller.
