Press Release: IRAP Urges Congress to Do More for Refugee Resettlement

This afternoon, the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) submitted a statement for the record to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Oversight of the Administration’s FY 2016 Refugee Resettlement Program: Fiscal and Security Implications.

To address the many obstacles currently preventing effective refugee protection, IRAP has identified a number of concrete solutions that would vastly improve the United States’ capacity to safely resettle the most vulnerable refugees in the Middle East.
