IRAP in The Guardian: This Veterans Day, We Must Remember the Iraqi Interpreters

Michael Breen, Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project co-founder and veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, reminds us today in the Guardian that as we welcome the homecoming of our soldiers in Iraq, we must do more to help those for whom the war is not over– the two million or more refugees, including interpreters, religious minorities, gay men, and victims of sex trafficking. The government must take action to fulfill our promise of safety to those closest friends who helped our soldiers when they were most in need of help.
