IRAP shares its updated Practice Guide on U.S. Immigration Law and Marriages Abroad. The practice guide provides legal background, practical tips, and hypothetical exercises for legal practitioners assisting families in humanitarian and family reunification immigration pathways. In July 2024, IRAP substantially updated the practice guide by adding new and expanded sections related to representing LGBTQ couples, polygamous marriages, first-cousin marriages, marriages involving minors, and proxy marriages.
