Amirah Hammad

Amirah Hammad is the Operations Manager at IRAP Jordan. In this role, Amirah oversees administration, human resources, organizational culture & finance while representing the office in global operations management and country-level forums.

With over 12 years of experience in support functions, Amirah have held pivotal roles in HR, Finance, and Administration, including membership in Senior Management teams and occasionally covering for Country Director positions. She has managed to gain extensive experience in both emergency and developmental contexts across various INGOs, having worked directly in Syria, Erbil, and occasionally in Lebanon. Amirah has focused her career to fostering team resilience and prioritizing staff wellbeing. She has played a foundational role in providing strategic inputs in addition to leading key initiatives in organizational development for projects such as (compensation and benefits, resource management, talent acquisition, GEDI (Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion), conducting investigations, and drafting comprehensive manuals and policies). She has worked with INGOs including; Handicap International, Medecins du Monde, Intersos, Oxfam & Mercy Corps.

Amirah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and is expected to graduate from the American University in Jordan with a Master’s degree in Business Administration & Business Analytics in the beginning of 2025. Amirah is specifically focusing on data analytics as she’s received trainings in different analytical tools & techniques such as Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Access & RapidMiner.
