Euphrasie Kalolwa
Euphrasie Kalolwa is the Advocacy Manager at IRAP Europe. In this role, she leads IRAP Europe’s advocacy efforts on key issues related to family reunification and asylum visa procedures to France.
Working closely with both IRAP’s Europe team and global Policy team, Euphrasie contributes to securing and expanding safe, dignified pathways to protection for refugees and highly vulnerable individuals.
Prior to joining IRAP, Euphrasie led a team of mobile social workers at the Communal Centre for Social Action (CCAS), a public agency in Marseille dedicated to providing social support to the most vulnerable populations. She implemented a new public policy designed to expand access to social services for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
Before that, Euphrasie worked in the French NGO sector with Médecins sans frontières, where she promoted the rights of asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors, particularly in relation to access to healthcare. She also worked with Action contre la Faim, focusing on issues of malnutrition and pastoralism in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
Euphrasie holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Paris La Sorbonne and a Master’s in International Relations and African Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Euphrasie is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Greek.
