Gehan Ghanem

Gehan Ghanem is a staff attorney in the U.S. Legal Services Department at IRAP. In this role, she provides direct legal services to clients through a range of immigration processes. 

Prior to joining IRAP, Gehan was a Staff Attorney at Womankind, a non-profit organization that provides social and legal services to survivors of gender-based violence. There Gehan assisted clients in applying for immigration benefits such as trafficking visas, U-visas, and VAWA self-petitions.

Gehan holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling from University of Houston. 

Gehan is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and Texas.
