Larisa Friesen Hall
Larisa Friesen Hall is the SVP for Development at the International Refugee Assistance Project. She has a nearly 20 year track record of leading nonprofit philanthropy teams through seasons of growth. In this role, Larisa leads the development team and also works in close collaboration with the executive leadership team and board of directors to provide strategic direction for the organization’s philanthropic support and donor relations.
Prior to IRAP, Larisa served at Bread for the World and Bread for the World Institute as the VP for Development and prior to that she served as the VP and Chief Advancement Officer at Sojourners. Larisa is highly experienced at leading through CEO/Founder and other major leadership transitions. Her previous involvements span national and global levels in the corporate, philanthropic, journalism, and nonprofit sectors on issues including poverty and inequality, international development, environmental and climate justice, gender justice, global leadership development, racial equity, strengthening democracy, immigration and refugees, and civic engagement.
Larisa holds an executive MBA from Georgetown University and a B.S. in International Business and Economic Development from Eastern Mennonite University.
