Mai Greitz
Mai Greitz is a Staff Attorney with IRAP Europe. In this role, Mai is responsible for individual representation of beneficiaries of international protection in the family reunification process to Sweden, as well as for litigation and advocacy to challenge difficulties in this process.
Prior to joining IRAP, Mai worked as a lawyer at an anti-discrimination office, where she offered legal counsel and assistance to individuals facing discrimination. Before that, Mai served as an immigration lawyer and as an attorney with a general practice.
She has served on the board of the Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups (FARR) and has been providing pro-bono legal assistance to undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers in Sweden for many years.
Mai holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Stockholm University. She speaks Swedish, English, and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of Arabic and German.
