Rouba Anka
Rouba Anka is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Operations and Finance at IRAP. In this role, Rouba leads IRAP’s global finance, operations, human resources, technology and risk functions – driving organizational sustainability, operational excellence, and long-term strategic growth.
Prior to joining IRAP, Rouba was serving as Interim Co-CEO and CFO at Asylum Access. Rouba brings nearly two decades of international and local nonprofits in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Born and raised in Lebanon, Rouba started her professional career during the Syrian war, by working with ACTED and UNHCR in the finance and operations department in responding to the big funds that were sent to support refugees crossing the borders. Driven by her lived experience, Rouba has spent most of her career working in the forced displacement sector. Her career has been marked by mission-driven strategy, financial acumen, and a deep commitment to justice, equity and human rights..
Rouba holds an MBA, a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Rouba speaks Arabic (native), English (fluent), French (fluent), Spanish (Beginner).
