Therese Herrmann
Therese Herrmann is IRAP Europe’s Advocacy Manager for Germany. In this role, Therese coordinates the advocacy efforts of IRAP Europe’s German team.
Prior to joining IRAP, Therese managed advocacy for Kabul Luftbrücke (Kabul Airlift), a German organization advocating for humanitarian admissions from Afghanistan through work in Germany, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Before that, she was a lecturer at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the fields of migration ethics and political theory, and coordinated an international research project on the role of values in European migration policy. Therese also has experience in counseling refugees in German asylum and visa processes through various roles in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin.
Therese studied Politics, Philosophy and History in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), New York (US) and York (UK) and holds an M.A. in Political Theory from Goethe University Frankfurt.
