Our Offices
While our clients may be located anywhere in the world, IRAP staff primarily work out of five office locations.
North America: New York City and Washington D.C., United States of America
The majority of IRAP’s U.S. legal, litigation, and operational staff is located in New York City. We recently also opened an office in Washington D.C. to help facilitate our congressional advocacy.
Middle East: Amman, Jordan and Beirut, Lebanon
IRAP’s Jordan and Lebanon Offices provide direct legal assistance to refugees of all nationalities in need of protection and resettlement. Attorneys and caseworkers in Jordan and Lebanon help clients navigate the complex legal processes of UNHCR and resettlement host countries worldwide in order to reach safety through both traditional and complementary pathways, including UNHCR resettlement, direct access to the United States Refugee Admissions Program, humanitarian visas, and family reunification.
Europe: Berlin, Germany
IRAP’s Europe office opened in Germany in 2021. Our Berlin-based team is focused on representing clients in European legal pathways, with a particular focus on France, Germany, and Sweden. With lawyers from all three of these jurisdictions on staff, IRAP Europe represents clients in family reunification and humanitarian visa pathways to Europe. The Europe office also leads IRAP’s partnerships with Europe-based NGOs and other organizations, including Equal Rights Beyond Borders, which provides legal services to refugees and asylum seekers in Greece.
