Reunited in Germany – Legal Information Guide for Families and Advocates

IRAP and Equal Rights Beyond Borders (ERBB) have published a new guide, Reunited in Germany, that provides information about the first steps to take after arriving in Germany through a family reunification procedure. The guide may be helpful for families who have reunited in Germany, as well as legal practitioners or social workers who are assisting families. Specific topics in the guide include securing residency in Germany through a residence permit or asylum, work authorization, and eligibility for benefits.
