Briana Perez

Briana Perez is a Supervising Attorney at IRAP. In this role, Briana provides legal representation for refugees and humanitarian migrants.

Prior to joining IRAP, Briana served as the Interim Assistant Director of the Pre-Removal team at RAICES in Texas. There, she led a team of advocates dedicated to representing detained asylum seekers in their expedited removal proceedings. Previously, she completed a legal fellowship at MALDEF, focused on immigration detention condition advocacy and litigation.

Briana holds a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Briana is a member of the Texas bar.
