Kareem Nasr

Kareem Nasr is the Lebanon Caseworker at IRAP, where he manages screenings, post-submission client cases, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive process. 

Kareem’s diverse experience encompasses various impactful roles. Notably, as a Protection Officer at Helem, where he was part of the leading group in the services department. His proficiency as a Trainer, particularly in SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression, and Sex Characteristics), reflects a dedicated involvement in capacity building and demonstrating a strong commitment to the inclusion of service provision to the LGBTQIA+ community. Furthermore, Kareem has contributed significantly as a researcher in collaboration with Caritas Lebanon on a major project titled “An Exploration of the Mental Health Risks and Suicide Risks of Migrant Domestic Workers and a Call for Policy Reform. As a Field Assessment Officer at Oxfam Gb, he supported in editing the assessment to be more inclusive, trained and supervised other data collectors, and collected crucial data for the Temporary Cash Assistance Project.

Kareem’s commitment extends from his background in Psychology, holding a Bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame University, as well as his consistent pursuit of self-improvement and development. He is fluent in Arabic and English and excels in utilizing various software programs.
