Sara French

Sara French is a Staff Attorney in the U.S. Legal Services Department at IRAP. In this role she provides direct legal services to refugees and humanitarian migrants through a range of immigration processes.

Prior to joining IRAP, Sara worked at the American Immigration Council’s Immigration Justice Campaign as a mentoring immigration attorney giving guidance and trainings to pro bono attorneys. Sara began her legal career working as an immigration attorney at a non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah providing legal representation to immigrant communities. While a law student, Sara interned at the Institute for Women in Migration in Mexico City and Hope Border Institute in El Paso, Texas.

Sara holds a J.D. with a concentration in Human and Civil Rights from the University of Dayton School of Law. She earned her B.A. in History and Hispanic Studies from Davidson College. Sara speaks Spanish.

Sara is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio.
