Tanvi Monga

Tanvi Monga is Director of Portfolio Impact at The Audacious Project, where she partners with social entrepreneurs and the Audacious donor community to help high-impact organizations strengthen their strategy, learning, and long-term results. In this role, she supports leaders tackling some of the world’s most urgent challenges by fostering the partnerships, insight, and evidence needed to translate bold ideas into lasting change.

Tanvi brings more than 18 years of experience spanning global health, philanthropy, and nonprofit implementation. Prior to joining Audacious, she served as a Program Officer at Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies, where she helped develop the International Health strategy and led grantmaking to global health organizations, with a particular emphasis on gender equity.

Earlier in her career, Tanvi held leadership and advisory roles at Ipas and ICF International. At Ipas, she led the global strategy on community engagement and gender and launched its climate justice and reproductive health portfolio, securing the initial funding to establish the work. At ICF, she advised large-scale USAID-funded maternal, newborn, and child health programs, supporting efforts to improve access, advance equity, and strengthen outcomes for communities facing systemic barriers to care.

Having worked across Bangladesh, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, South Africa, and Zambia, Tanvi brings both a global and grounded perspective to systems change. Her experience as both an implementer and a grantmaker gives her a distinctive perspective on how philanthropy can most effectively support nonprofit leaders and organizations working at the front lines of social impact.

Tanvi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Trinity University, a Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
