This expert roundtable will undergird a U.S. policy playbook on climate mobility — reflecting on lessons from the international sphere, centering impacted communities, and kicking off a series to build a coalition around this policy agenda.
In the midst of daily assaults on immigrant rights, massive climate-related displacement, and the dearth of affirmative policy ideas commensurate to protection needs, we will strategize around a U.S. policy agenda on climate mobility to expand meaningful legal protections to climate-displaced people seeking safety and permanence in the United States.
